In the article Katherine talks about kids with Discipline Deficit Disorder (DDD). These kids are hanging out at the library, mouthing off, running around and graffiti. Katherine suggests that we give the kids a prescription to calm them down, but I don't think that will work. Maybe these kids are just trying to fit in, or be like what they see on TV. It's not always a curable thing, what kids do. I think that the police should just put them in juvinial hall, or in a jail cell, just to get a taste of what they're getting into.

you're life is your own, don't live it for somebody else. you want to stay in your room and sleep your life away, go ahead, i ain't stopping you. you want to sing and dance in the mall, why not, see if people will throw quarters at you. you want to see the world before you go, that's cool, just remember to take pictures. you want to join the army, navy, marines, that's cool, go fight for your country. you want to have a place to go home to, try your parents, they didn't change your room. you need to get up because you got to babysit, wake up and have fun with the kids. you need to take voice lessons before you sing in public, ask your parents if they'll pay for it. you need to have somebody to travel the world with you, take your younger sister and get to know each other. you need to find what you're good at, just ask your family, they know everything. you need your parents night and day, they need you, too, they just don't say it. live your life the way you want to, just be sure that you can before you end up living in a box with a sign that says "will work for food," and make sure you spell it right, you might not get a job. live your life, the sky is the limit, live your life, not on your death bed wishing that you could go back and live it over again.
